OSI Ski & snowboard winter 2017-2018

Welcome to a new semester in Oslo!

Some of you might be wondering what's in store for the ski and snowboard group this fall, as traditionally we're not the most active before the snow arrives.

Pre-season at Geilo
Geilo has the last few years stored snow for a pre-season opening in october.
This means 1 lift, 1 slope and 1 park. And that park, means it's bloody awesome
Expect us to arrange a trip there.

Pre-Xmas season
The ski resorts in Oslo usually*, start opening around mid November.
Last year, November conditions were of icy, with maybe a few days of slush,and rain until December rolled around.
Depending on conditions, we will start up park shredding sessions at Tryvann before or after new years.

Traditionally we also arrange a trip to Hemsedal or a similar resort around the beginning of December.
